Against the Plagues

"Decoding the Mainframe"
Consisting of members from Luciferion, Forest Of Impaled and Malevolent Creation this Swedish-Polish-American band is hardly lacking in experience and more than a sum of its part. Led by guitar wizard Wojtek Lisicki (Luciferion, ex-Lost Horizon) Against the Plagues is, musically, a continuation of the direction started on Luciferion's second semi-conceptual album "The Apostate". Like tha...

"Nous Reviedrons Immortels"
From the ever fertile soil of France comes this black metal act, which was originally formed under the name Empires de Glace. After a stereotypical synthesizer intro with samples of howling winds and thunderstorms and moody spoken monk vocals give way to a rather traditional Scandinavian interpretation of the genre. Disfigured Dead

Wouter Roemers
Death metal is such a limitless genre. You can do whatever you'd like. It can be over the top technical or slow. Brutal or insane and it's all so good. When we made "Visions of Death" it just came out with a natural old school-ish vibe and that's great, but our newer material has a much more modern technical vibe. • Cardiac Arrest - sign w/ Ibex Moon Records

    2010-03-05

Adding to an all ready devastatingly brutal roster of bands, Ibex Moon Records has just signed Chicago’s CARDIAC ARREST.

In addition to appearing alongside newfound labelmates such as INCANTATION, ACHERON, FATALIST and GRAVEHILL at this year’s Central Illinios and Michigan Deathfests, May 25th, 2010 will also see the release of Cardiac Arrest’s third full-length, Haven For The Insane.

The band had this to say about their relationship with Ibex Moon Records, “We are humbly honored to join the ranks of the Ibex Moon Records roster. Most of us have known John for a very long time, and have the upmost respect for him. Being on a larger label run by a musician is absolutely ideal for a band like us. We’re finally ‘home,’ as they say. We collectively look forward to growing a lasting relationship with Ibex Moon Records; bringing our brand of death metal, Heart Stopping Death Rot, to the masses. You have been warned. See you on the road!”
