Death metal is such a limitless genre. You can do whatever you'd like. It can be over the top technical or slow. Brutal or insane and it's all so good. When we made "Visions of Death" it just came out with a natural old school-ish vibe and that's great, but our newer material has a much more modern technical vibe. I love how death metal has evolved.
For me, death metal should be heavy as fuck, brutal (which doesn't necessarily mean "fast"), atmospheric and evil. If the "evil" thing is not there, you can't label yourself death metal, that's a fact. I'm so fucking close minded when it comes to metal music... I listen to the SAME hard rock, heavy, thrash, doom, death and black metal that I used to listen to 15 years ago.
Pochodzenie do czegoś zobowiązuje, to nie podlega dyskusji. Jedni zobowiązani są do obnoszenia się ze swoim sumiastym wąsem, inni preferują styl totalnie niezobowiązujący, znane są także przypadki niedające się podciągnąć pod żadną z powyższych kategorii. Kwartet ochrzczony jako Carnivore Diprosopus pochodzi z Kolumbii i zdziwiony tym faktem szczególnie nie jestem. Latynoski temperament jest na "Madhouse's Macabre Acts" niemal namacalny. Wszystko tu wrze niczym w samowarze. Nie jest istotnie, czy w danym momencie zespół serwuje krewką galopadę, czy też łobuzersko zwalnia. Każdy moment jest odpowiedni by wystartować w wyścigu zbrojeń, nawet jeśli już dawno jest po zawodach, miejsca na podium zajęte, a część publiczności odmaszerowała w siną dal. Carnivore Diprosopus postawił sobie za cel zagrać na miarę swoich możliwości mocno, ekstremalnie i zdecydowanie na death metalowo. Zamiar bez wątpienia powiódł się i wszyscy wokół są szczęśliwi. Zespół, bo za "Madhouse's Macabre Acts" wstydzić się nie musi.
