No matter how fucken much grey hair John McEntee gets, or how much more thick Kyle Severn’s mustache grows, Incantation will always play fucken pure death metal, and nothing else. “Dirges Of Elysium” does exactly what you want it to, and sounds better than any recent fucken shit I heard. Whether they are playing hateful sounding doom dirges, or crunchy pure NY death metal Incantation never disappoints. I wish more bands like were like them, or Bolt Thrower, Desecration or Vader. Trusty, reliable and always ready to educate some clueless fucken stupid kids in the ways of the genre. If you have heard one of the prior McEntee-fronted albums, you know exactly the way this one is going to play out. I’m wasn’t that fond of “Primordial Domination” and my memory is kinda hazy on “Vanquish In Vengeance”, but this one sounds very much like vintage Incantation. Old man McEntee is of course no fucken Craig Pillard, Daniel Corchado or Mike Saez, but nobody is expecting that. The artwork is really fucken neat this time too. That has been kinda hit-and-miss over the last three albums. Really, what a fucken eyesore was “Primordial Domination”. Holy fucken shit, dudes. That made the average Seth Siro Anton artwork look good. Thankfully, these geriatric death metal warriors never compromise. Not even fucken old age can stop these guys from cranking out some seriously fucken heavy and evil sounding death metal. Cos that has been sorely missing these last fucken years. Hateful and dark death metal. I used to remember a time when death metal only sounded fucken dark, hateful and brooding. I suppose these days everybody just cares about gravity-blasting (ask Infested Blood), sweep-picking (ask Brain Drill), recording everything note-by-note (ask Onion Rings Of Saturn) or blaring corny orchestral parts (ask Fleshgod Apoca-pasta) yet precious fucken few remember to bring the pain, and write, you know, like, songs and shit. Nobody expects Incantation to ever change, no matter how many ex-members they have, and Incantation refuses to ever change. This is why I love them. Not in the fucken same way as I love Holly Eriksson, Jocelyn-Kay Lewis or Carole Hunt – but the general idea is the same. There are still certainties in this fucken life. Hard to believe, I know. Certainties like: Robb Flynn will always be a hack, Lucy Briggs’ enormous round ass will continue to defy gravity and the latest signing of Sumerian Records will always suck harder than the average chick on Exploited College Girls. Anyway, “Dirges Of Elysium” is out, and it is fucken leagues better than any of the other shit I have been forced to sit through. So help old man McEntee with his pending retirement, and actually buy this record. You’ll love it.

...co do saksofonu to był to przypadek całkowity. Bo idąc coś zjeść do miasta napotkaliśmy kolesia który na ulicy grał na saksofonie. Zagadałem do niego żeby nagrał nam jakieś partie i zgodził się. Oczywiście nie miał pojęcia na co się porwał, do tego komunikacja nie była najlepsza, bo okazał się być obywatelem Ukrainy i język polski nie był dobry albo w ogóle go nie było...
