EHNAHRE - The Man Closing Up [2008]

A slightly more informative update on the forthcoming Ehnahre album.
We have been working for the past year writing and recording our fourth full length record. We still have a bit of work to do on it, but we expect to finish it in early 2015, and are planning on a late spring release.
It will be a monstrous slab of music. 18 tracks in total. The title of the record is "Douve", and the text and concept are adapted from the poem "Théatre, from the book "On the Motion and Immobility of Douve" (Du mouvement et de l'immobilité de Douve) by Yves Bonnefoy.
The lineup for the record will be:
Richard Chowenhill- guitars
Ricardo Donoso- drums, electronics
Ryan McGuire- bass, double bass, voice
Jared Redmond- piano
There is also a guest appearance on several tracks by vocalist Ken Ueno.
"Douve" is being recorded by Jerry McDonald at Odd Fellows Studio, in Weymouth, MA.
This record is a sizable step forward in the evolution of the band. The music is more dynamic, technical and varied than ever before. It will most likely not be what you expect (but no, we are not abandoning metal (at least not entirely), just fucking with it even more than usual).
