Mądrego to i miło poczytać.

My musical taste is quite broad for a metal-head I suppose. When I meet people with one firm foot in other genres other than metal, they are generally more open. I don´t really believe that someone only can be touched by one specific genre. Think it has a lot more to do with the image they want to portray than if they truly can or can not be moved by another genre. I mean Its OK to chose to just listen to metal, but it´s silly to say that every other musical form is shit. People would even lie if they liked something that wasn´t healthy for their image, and I find that quite silly.
I have said it a million times before, music has two categories; good and bad music. If I like it, I don´t make excuses for liking it. If I hate it, I don´t sugarcoat it.
Music is something you collect over the years, I don´t mean physically, but while you go through your life, music accompanies you on your journey. Some of the music that walks with you in the present, whenever that is or was, hits you so hard on an emotional level, that you feel undeniably connected to it. Its like the soundtrack to your life at that given moment. This is the music we all collect over the years. The music thats intertwined with our life-experiences.
Thus, music is almost like a time-machine which enables you to re-visit your past emotional states through specific albums.
There is no genre I wont listen to, I guess the first thing I am looking for in music is honesty. Then another thing that really works for me is if the music connects to something outside music. The most boring musical projection is if the music just invokes pictures of four guys rehearsing, inside your minds eye that is. Music should take you to all those hidden places.
