Nekrokatarsis organization is lifting the gallows of death even higher and we proclaim that the III edition of the festival will take place on the 14th of March.

The concept of the festival remains the same: two directions – one goal. Black/death metal worship and noise/electronic madness. In advance we want to announce, that this year we will continue the path started last year with experimentations – the ever-growing presence of dementional dark electronics. This year we guarantee to pay some more attention to this, 2nd, stage which should gather even more attention.

CULT OF FIRE are in comparison a rather young band that has released only two full-length albums which immediately gained quite a lot of attention to the trio from Prague. Listeners were surprised by the not only melodic, atmospheric black metal mixed with esoteric topics, but also the original and exclusive imagery on the scene. Long and pointy hoods, robes, incense, skulls, candles and pitchfork scythes – today it has nearly become a trend among many black metal bands, however CULT OF FIRE was one of the first to revolutionize the new wave of esoteric black metal aesthetics.

PROFANAL. Death metal vortex, based on straightforward, sharp d-beats and a death cult worship. The music of PROFANAL is best revealed via their live performances: energetic, wild, destructive. The bands worship of old-school death metal will leave no victims!

Procreators of the dark and demented is the Norwegian TORTORUM. Their last output “Katabasis” (2014) is a fiery light of an album in the modern day Norwegian metal scene. Swarming, sinister, unstable, disbalanced, dissonant, but orthodox to the black metal cannons – it is a fresh discovery in today’s scene. We are sure that the zealous and fanatical live performance of TORTORUM will ignite your blood and leave permanent scars in your memories.

FUCK OFF AND DIE! is a solo project of Kommander L. (LUCTUS) which previously existed only in it’s masters mind and studio recordings. In such way, three full length albums were released: “No Peace. No Love. No Whores. No God.” (2005), “Anti-All” (2008) and “Sociopathic Regression” (2012), which mix fierce old school hardcore and filthy black metal. Kommander L. proclaims: “during the festival we will focus on the “Anti-all” album and some completely fresh FOAD! pieces. Expect total devastation!”

We announce local black metal/crossover underground cult FUCK OFF AND DIE! who will perform for the first time ever in 10 years of their existence.

CULT OF FIRE will perform in "Armageddon Descends III"

The line-up of “Armageddon Descends III” is nearly completed. We are proud to announce one of the main headliners – Czech esoteric black metal band CULT OF FIRE.

It could be noted that in recent years the field of esoteric black metal has been strongly marked by the Czech scene. Especially two bands – INFERNO and CULT OF FIRE – have left a significant mark in this sphere. Both of these bands in 2013 released full length albums that instantly gained praise and attention of the black metal underground. This resulted in gaining highlight positions among the lineups of many different underground-oriented festivals and frequent concerts, offers to play in North America and various other destinations.

The first album “Triumvirat” (2012) immediately gained quite a lot of attention to the trio from Prague. Listeners were surprised by the not only melodic, atmospheric black metal mixed with esoteric topics, but also the original and exclusive imagery on the scene. Long and pointy hoods, robes, incense, skulls, candles and pitchfork scythes – today it has nearly become a trend among many black metal bands, however CULT OF FIRE was one of the first to revolutionize the new wave of esoteric black metal aesthetics.

The crucial turning point came in 2013 when the band released their second full-length album “Ascetic Meditation of Death”. An incredible atmosphere lies in it's walls of sounds – it ranges from violent and straight-forward black metal to soft, melancholic visions that pervade the worship of death, darkness and secrets of mysticism. The album deals with oriental esoteric themes where sounds of chaos coincide with sounds of harmony of instruments such as the sitar, organs or bells.
