The Scandinavian horde DRAUG was formed by the winter solstice of year 2000.
It wasn't until 2005 though when some music was officially recorded. Several factors did though affect the finishing of the recordings and it would take all the time until 2012 before everything was complete musically.
The problems with the release didn't stop there though! In August 2012 the artist responsible for the artwork, the talented Belarusian artist Kronum, was murdered, dismembered and his head boiled in a pot to end up in the fridge of the murderer Pavel "Smutak" Seliun (who was sentenced to death for the murder and executed in 2014).
After a long time of searching for someone to complete the half finished work of Kronum, the task was brilliantly finished (in a style harmonising perfectly with Kronum's) by Visceral Depths of Art in 2015.
(SDP 018) DRAUG "Rūnō", is to be released on gold shell cassette in a black cardboard box with a golden stamp imprint on the lid and with a beautiful booklet printed in gold, black and white.
Limited to 100 copies and planned to be out in March 2016 through Scythe of Death Productions.
