Ostatnim razem też była mowa o tym albumie Candlemass. Wnioskując- jemu się nigdy nie znudzi gonienie za jakimś urojonym riffem z lat 80. Szkoda tylko, że od nastu lat do niczego genialnego go to nie zaprowadziło.

ja tego słuchał na pewno nie będę. w sumie ciekawa sprawa, że jeden z moich absolutnie ulubionych, wybitnych zespołów, od wielu lat mnie nie interesuje zupełnie. chyba nie ma takiego drugiego przypadku

Przecież to norma, kocham debiuty Morbidów i Deicide ale ostatnie pule wytoczne z ich udziałem są tak biedne, że szkoda czasu.
Darkthrone wielbiłem do pewnego czasu, teraz grają bryndzę albo ja po prostu zbutwiałem i się na metal nie nadaję, i tak trza umrzeć więc.

Mi się bardziej podobały okładki ta np z circle od wagons. Ale czekam na tę płytę, nowego darkthro a łykam tak jak starego. Ciekawe czy pociągną bardziej w Black metal jak na ostatnim albumie czy w tego heavy punka

The band's first studio album since 2016's "Arctic Thunder" sees the Norwegian legends cut through six new epic tracks, taking in the best of the old school of heavy and extreme metal plus a large dose of doom-laden riffing, and channelling it through the grime of the underground.

Fenriz enthuses: "'Old Star' — again we are here with the riffs! A while after our previous 'Arctic Thunder', album it became apparent that we would continue in that same style, black old heavy metal with slow thrash, classic doom and slow death metal.

"As many have focused on the '70s sound over the last 20 years, the mix on our new album has ended up being more '80s than ever. The songs are more metal than ever! Ted's songs have alot of black metal in them, faster and slower but also doomier parts and reocurring parts. My songs are more linear written. It's an ancient '80s underground trick, with breaks, all slow heavy or slow thrash, classic doom or slow death."

He continues, "All in all, it is our most '80s album so far and our most metal one to date with drum sound typical for the '80s USA/German market and damned lyrics, which are all written by me. We feel that 'Old Star' is the big brother of 'Arctic Thunder'. More solid and with even better riffs."

Czekam niecierpliwie.

Ostatnia płyta, która mną pozamiatała ukazała się w 2016. Podobnie zresztą jak wszystkie pozostałe.

Raczej nie jestem diehardem, ale dokładnie tak.

Ciekawy jestem czy pójdą właśnie w klimaty "Arctic Thunder", które było bardzo dobrą płytą czy wrócą do tego co zrobili na kiepskim moim zdaniem "The Underground Resistance".
