No, ja gdzieś tam będę się kręcił w białej piżamie i czapeczce smerfa.

Powtarzam se dyskografię słO)))neczka - codziennie jeden album - i taka refleksja, że im bardziej minimalistycznie grają, tym lepiej im to wychodzi. OOVoid maluje mi we łbie takie prehistoryczne pejzaże tymi sprzężeniami, rzężeniami i szeroko pojętym wyciem, że odlatuję na maksa. Dwie ostatnie też mi robią dobrze, z naciskiem na Pyroclasts. I przy okazji odkrywam, że jest to muzyka bardzo uspokajająca. Forma jest oczywiście ekstremalna, ale to w zasadzie jest ambient - i działa na mózg w bardzo podobny sposób.

Natomiast gdy próbują straszyć albo kombinować, to się odbijam. Kiedyś mi te Black One, Oracle czy inne Monolity robiły najlepiej, a teraz eeeeech. Nie. Chociaż BassAliens z White2 to jest tak skrajnie chore gówno, że jak tego słuchałem jakiś czas temu przed snem w łóżku to mało nie narobiłem w majty.

Dobrze było. Nie udało mi się ogłuchnąć (za dobre mam zatyczki do uszu, nawet mi nic nie gwiżdże dzisiaj), ale jak podpełzłem pod scenę na jakieś pół godziny to momentami nie dało się oddychać i faktycznie dźwięk w takim natężeniu robi dziwne rzeczy w ciele. Obok jacyś goście leżeli na podłodze i smażyli bakę, zazdroszczę mocnych nerwów, bo mnie by wywieziono po czymś takim w kaftanie bezpieczeństwa.

Support znakomity, kto opuścił ten przegrał życie.

Support doskonaly w tych elektro/ambient dronach i aż się prosiło żeby razem z gwiazda wieczoru coś wysmażyli.
Pozycja leżącą - przetestowałem i w tych okolicznosciach (duza hala i masa przestrzeni - zdecydowanie bdb).

sunn O))) was co-produced & mixed by the band and Brad Wood (Hum, Tar, Sunny Day Real Estate, Liz Phair), and was recorded at Bear Creek Studios in Woodinville, Washington, January 2025. You can now listen to the album’s closing track, “Glory Black.”

sunn O))) is available for preorder on CD/2xLP/all DSPs worldwide from Sub Pop. LP preorders through the North American Sub Pop Mega Mart will receive the limited Loser edition on opaque blue vinyl; preorders through Mega Mart Europe will receive the Loser Edition on oxblood vinyl (UK/EU) with reversed cover art. The Loser Editions will also be available at your local record store. There are also two new T-shirts (long and short sleeve) and a baseball hat available (US-only) (All vinyl colors and album merch available while stock lasts!).

Framing the album visually are two paintings by the late American artist Mark Rothko - one on the front cover and one on the back cover, with the art reversed for UK & European pressings. The CD and LP package also includes expansive liner notes by author Robert Macfarlane, whose 2025 novel Is a River Alive? is among the many sources of inspiration for the album. And, illustrations by French artist Elodie Lesourd are also featured on the inner LP sleeves and accompanying album merch.

sunn O))) recently sat for an interview with The New York Times, who say of the new album: “The result — captured with exceptional vividness by Brad Wood…is a hyperdistilled version of its core aesthetic, in which snarling distortion and glinting feedback ooze from the speakers like the dense fog that fills the air at the band’s shows (See January 13th, 2026 feature).”

sunn O)) is also announcing new initial North American headlining shows for 2026 in support of the album. Additional incoming live dates will be announced soon.

Wlasnie mialem pisac, bo mi podsunelo na Tidalu. Bardzo mi sie widzi ten kawalek, jest po tej bardziej przystepnej stronie, ale ja ze sloneczka najbardziej lubie "Altar", wiec lykam bez popity.

Tak, jakiś taki całkiem żwawy się wydaje (jak na ich standardy oczywiście). Brzmienie też fajne, ale najbardziej mnie cieszy ten Rothko na okładce. Mam słabość do malarstwa tego gościa, a do Sunn pasuje idealnie.

Poza tym fajnie, że kontynuują powrót do surowizny. Te ich wszystkie kombinowane albumy są spoko, bo to w ogóle bardzo kreatywni muzycy są i zawsze umieli wymyślić swoją formułe na nowo tak, żeby brzmiała świeżo, ale jednak najlepiej to działa w wersji bez ozdobników i dodatków. A zwłaszcza bez wokali - to, że Attila już z nimi nie gra widzi mi się więcej niż bardzo.
