CLANDESTINE BLAZE Archive volume I, II, III.
2008 marked the 10 years anniversary of Clandestine Blaze. Meanwhile, as previously announced, bootleggers managed to do their thing with some old tape materials. Whole thing had to be planned again. How to respect the material and its original intentions/atmosphere. Finally after many changes of plans, final result is as follows: CD and vinyl format released as identical versions. Meaning the releases follow the length limitations of vinyl format. First demo came out in very last months of 1998, and these cd's came out just about the same time - only 10 years later.

Each with 40-50 minutes of music. Vinyl versions won't be out before Jan/feb 2009, but CD version should be out within 1-2 weeks. Each containing 4 page booklet, with all the lyrics, re-printed original tape front covers with some linernotes, and new front/back artwork for this Archive release. Sound is taken from best existing original mastertapes, and very little of adjusting was done. Merely adjusting the volumelevels to match closer to eachother. Stayed away from EQ cleaning and especially from modern extreme flat compression and other such things, keeping sound as originally were and is intended.
There is no knowing what sales/demand could be, so each CD is pressed just the factory minimum => 500 copies to start with. These release will be sold exclusively by NH (no wholesale, no trade). For sake of some decency towards original ideas of the releases as well as to not make tape re-issues to take attention from the "real" full length albums available available in regular distribution. CD's will be sold at regular 12 euro price, but the will be discount bundle deal all 3 for 30 euro. NO PRE-ORDERS ! WAIT FOR ANNOUNCEMENT!
How many copies of vinyl versions will be pressed, is yet undecided. But surely no more than 500 at max.
A co do samego projektu - wiadomo chyba, pierwsze dwa albumy mocno średnie, 3ka może być, DoF gwałci, CoA gwałci jeszcze bardziej. Z kasetkami różnie, ale generalnie bardzo OK.
Mało jest takich artystów jak Mikko, którzy potrafią wytworzyć tak "popieprzoną umysłowo" atmosferę, zarówno dżwiękami jak i wokalizami (chociażby taki "Tormented"). Deliverers OF Faith jest po prostu jedną z najlepszych płyt jakie mam. Church Of Atrocity też dobre, ale jednak DoF zdecydowanie stoi wyżej. Po wcześniejsze nie sięgałem i chyba niewiele straciłem.
