Orebro, Sweden natives Ruin follow-up their 2005 "Ruin the World" promo with another 3 cuts of highly lethal, pristinely produced death/thrash of the highest order. In comparison to their debut offering the band has streamlined their ideas, polished up their sound and generally became more proficient at their respective instruments. A special mention goes out to Tobhias Ljung, who has become one of the most promising young drummers of recent times. Guitarists Daniel Schröder and Anders Bertilsson have adopted even more death – and black metal influences, the latter primarily shining through in 'The Black Angel'. The extended solo section at the end of 'Tainted Soul' is very impressive and something Ruin should build upon in future material. Einar Magnusson still spits his usual vocal torrents with slight death metal undertones. Slayer is the band's main inspiration but with influences from (early 90s) death – and even black metal around the edges, Ruin will appeal to anybody in the extreme metal scene. Only thing amiss here is fitting artwork and an eye-catching band logo. Should the band work out these last two facets, they'll have an impressive presentation by the time their next promo rolls out. This 3 track promo was recorded at Coldworker Studios, Örebro, Sweden with assistance of ex-Nasum/Coldworker drummer Anders Jakobson and Johan Berglund. Mixing was done at the famed Unisound Studios by Dan Swanö.

...co do saksofonu to był to przypadek całkowity. Bo idąc coś zjeść do miasta napotkaliśmy kolesia który na ulicy grał na saksofonie. Zagadałem do niego żeby nagrał nam jakieś partie i zgodził się. Oczywiście nie miał pojęcia na co się porwał, do tego komunikacja nie była najlepsza, bo okazał się być obywatelem Ukrainy i język polski nie był dobry albo w ogóle go nie było...
