I love the old Stockholm scene with fucken bands like Nihilist, Dismember, Necrophobic and Unleashed. Germany, home of terrible power metal and the only place in Europe that hasn’t yet banned the homosexual warriors from Manowar, apparently loves it too the last fucken ten years or so. Cos I dunno about you, but everytime some “old school” death metal band from Germany sends me an email about their fucken record, I always get a distinct feeling that it will be fucken Stockholm death metal. Not that I’m complaining. So, Graveyard Ghoul is another of these throwback bands like that are too fucken many, but like Abyssous, Chapel Of Disease, Diabolical Imperium, Lifeless, etc – I mean, even Mental Killing Spree is pretty fucken ace considering they are modern and plastic sounding. Do you know why the fuck else I love this record? The bass guitar. You can hear it popping and throbbing away like it’s none of your fucken business. I never understood why contemporary metal bands need a bassist if they are going to mix him/her away to fucken kingdom come anyway. Graveyard Ghoul has a bassist, and the guy is actively contributing to the fucken songs with his oozing bass lines. I mean, fuck, I don’t get what is so hard to understand about that, but songwriting was never one of the main priorities of modern fucken death metal. All those fucken clueless piece of shit idiots care about is sweep-picking, and gravity blasting cos that is what all the cool kids do. Well, fuck you too, buddy! Who the fuck cares about the cool kids are doing, anyway? Kids are stupid. It’s hard to fucken believe that death metal was actually, at one point, good. I’m certainly having trouble remembering why I started liking it in the first place. Thanks fucken Odin for Graveyard Ghoul for reminding me, cos “The Living Cemetery” sounds dank, rotten and completely fucken deranged in its traditional genre sensibilities. For fuck’s sake, the genre doesn’t need to be more than this: chainsaw riffs, booming bass lines, utterly fucken vomited grunts and eerie melodies with a completely fucken necro production that is one part old Morrissound and one part old Sunlight. Seriously, if you are like me, and consider most of contemporary Swedish metal to be completely fucken fruity, impotent and stupid – than this is a worthwhile fucken alternative, cos you wouldn’t be able to tell that these bratwursts are from Germany.

...co do saksofonu to był to przypadek całkowity. Bo idąc coś zjeść do miasta napotkaliśmy kolesia który na ulicy grał na saksofonie. Zagadałem do niego żeby nagrał nam jakieś partie i zgodził się. Oczywiście nie miał pojęcia na co się porwał, do tego komunikacja nie była najlepsza, bo okazał się być obywatelem Ukrainy i język polski nie był dobry albo w ogóle go nie było...
